Dan is an accomplished golf coach based in Sydney's Sutherland Shire. He is a member of the PGA of Australia and PGA of Canada, with various expert designations ranging from coaching advanced golfers to golf psychology.

Dan has over fifteen years of coaching experience, and has taught more than 10,000 lessons. He is one of less than a hundred global instructors to achieve Master Designation status with TrackMan Golf. He is a modern, cutting-edge professional who believes in using all the latest technology in order to identify his students’ greatest barriers to success. Dan has several certifications with golf technology companies: TPI, CAPTO, and BodiTrak to name a few.

Dan is a big believer in using psychological techniques in order to advance your game. Ever wonder why when you tell yourself not to hit in that hazard, you inevitably seem to find that hazard? The brain is a powerful tool that can be used to your advantage or can work against you. Advanced certifications in golf psychology help Dan to identify proper swing thoughts, pre-shot routines, and practice strategies for his students.

QUICK TIPS: Golf Shot Demo Videos

Pressure Putting

Let me guess, you make all your putts on the putting green but miss everything on the course? Especially short putts?

Your putting green practice is missing a crucial factor, PRESSURE. On the course, with your playing partners watching and a score in your mind, you feel it. That’s the difference from the practice green.

Apply some pressure with this drill. Complete a putt from every distance (3, 4, 5…10 feet) using only 3 balls. If you miss, that ball is out and you now have only 2 balls in play. Miss 3 times and restart. Do not allow yourself to leave the practice area until you complete the drill. This is where the pressure comes from. Set up is easy with tees to indicate location and pace it off by moving heel to toe.
